Karnataka Island Tour
Now that monsoons are about to bid farewell it’s time we move towards the secluded beaches and pristine blue water islands. This September Trikon plans to take you that place where Vasco Da Gama had set his first foot. A place filled with geographical importance and historical remnants is now on our to-do list.
St. Mary Island
Situated 4 kms off the quaint cities of Karnataka, St. Mary’s Island is one such gem which is waiting to be explored. Surrounded with white sands, rock monolithic and blue water, this island is truly a dream come true. You can also witness the shoreline from where Madagascar got separated from India, especially the coconut island cocoon.
Maravanthe Sangam Beach
Not just St. Mary’s island we also plan to explore Maravanthe Beach where the river and sea jog together. Not just scintillating destinations, you also have to wait for the mouth watering Udupi delicacies.
During our stay at Karnataka, we shall also explore the unknown backwater of Kemmanu Island. If you are dying to see a little version of Kerala’s Backwater then this is the place. Kemmanu Island is a habitat for many birds and fishes. There also lies a suspension rope bridge which adds to the attraction.
