Itinerary
Day 0 - Friday Night
Meet Trikon Team at Bandra Terminus at 11:00 pm and Board BDTS BGKT EXP(22965) at 11:55 pm. You can take alternate trains before this train also or choose to reach Vadodara via Bus or Private Vehicle.
Day 1 - Saturday: Explore Statue Of Unity, Narmada River and Vindhya Range
Reach Vadodara by 6:00 am and check-in to your room & relax for a while. Wake up and have breakfast, freshen up quickly and leave for Statue of Unity. Enjoy the drive for 3 Hours to reach Statue of Unity by 11 am and start exploring Sardar Sarovar Dam, valley of flowers with 100 varieties of flowers, magical laser show in the museum to know more about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and purpose behind making this statue. You can have lunch at the canteen present at Statue of Unity. Not to forget the scenic beauty of Narmada River and Vindhya Range, this keeps you glued to its beauty. In the evening, come back to the hotel at Vadodara which is around 2 Hours from Statue of Unity. Come to the hotel for dinner and sleep for the day.
Day 2 - Sunday: Explore Vadodara’s Famous Palace and Champaner
Wake up at Vadodara, one of the cleanest and beautiful cities of Gujarat. Get ready and have breakfast check out to explore Laxmi Vilas Palace which replicates the Buckingham Palace of England. It’s beautiful architecture is bound to leave you spellbound. Spend some time clicking pictures and exploring the palace and then leave for Champaner and explore the 12 Kamaan and beautiful dome structures. Have lunch in Champaner, which is a historical city in the state of Gujarat, in western India. It is located in Panchmahal district, 47 kilometres from the city of Vadodara. Apart from having a historical importance, the city has also featured in many movies like Lagaan, Loveyatri etc. Post this sightseeing leave for Mumbai by boarding your train at 8 pm from Vadodara station and spend the night in the train.

The nearest Airports to the Statue of Unity are Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara International Airports. These airports have international flight paths and connect all major airports globally.
It is located in the state of Gujarat, India. It is located on a river facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam on river Narmada in Kevadiya colony, 100 kilometres (62 miles) southeast of the city of Vadodara and 150 kilometres (93 miles) from Surat. The Statue of Unity is connected to Kevadia via a 3.5 kilometre long four lane road.
GSRTC buses operates from Kevadia to the nearby cities such as Vadodara, Surat, Ahmedabad & Rajpipla frequently throughout the day or you can hire private cab from vadodara.

- The Statue of Unity opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM from Tuesday to Sunday.

Winter months from October to February are the greatest times to visit SOU. However, its closed on Mondays of the week.
