Like every time Trikon is all set to take you back in time so that you see the unseen hear the unheard and explore the unexplored to the fullest.  The beautiful hindi song Ishq Sufiyaana, from the Bollywood movie “Dirty Picture” was shot here, featuring Imran Hashmi and Vidya Balan.

About Bidar:
A hill stop city situated on Deccan plateau, Bidar is a place that catches your attention instantly. Its ruined forts. Bidar city is known for its Bidri handicraft products, and its rich history. Bidar is also considered one of the holiest places for Sikh pilgrimage. Unlike other places in the region, Bidar is the coldest and wettest place in north Karnataka.

For the year 2009-10, Bidar was ranked 22nd among the cleanest cities in India and 5th cleanest in Karnataka. SH4 passes through Bidar and the whole city is integrated with 4 lane road. Picturesquely perched on the Deccan plateau, the Bidar fort is more than 500 years old and still standing strong. This place isn’t know to much except a few heritage lovers, this time give time a break and go for this destination

Itinerary

Itinerary

Day 0:  
Report at CSTM: 8:30 PM, Dadar: 9:00 pm, Thane: 9:15 pm and Kalyan : 9:30 pm. Overnight journey via sleeper class train to Bidar ( 12 Hours Overnight) Have dinner from home or get it packed to have in train. Seat allocation is done at the station or 1 hour before departure. Do let us know if you have any preference.

Day 1: 
Reach Bidar station by 9 am in the morning and proceed towards your hotel. We will book a clean, hygienic and pretty place near prominent locations to explore the places. Have breakfast once you check in and freshen up to start the journey. We explore the places either in a local transport depending upon number of participants. Our first pit stop be at Bidar fort which takes around good 2-3 hours to explore. We have lunch post this destination at Guru Jhira Sahib where the water pool and mantra chants gives you peace. Have langar at Gurudwara and rest for a while. Start remaining sightseeing with Narsimha Jharna Mandir, where you walk in knee deep water an adventure truly. Come back to the hotel by evening. Relax for the day! Have dinner play games and sleep tight.

Day 2: 
Wake up at 8 am! Start freshening up and have breakfast. By 10 am we start today’s sightseeing to cover other important places. Explore Bahmani Ruler tombs, Barid Shahi Tombs, Madrassa of Mahmud Gawan, Chaubara and Deva Deva Vana one by one to understand the importance of Bahumani Rulers in the Indian history. Have lunch and roam around the local markets to shop and eat. Come back to hotel. Check out and leave for station. Board train at 7 pm and leave for Mumbai.

Day 3: 
Reach Mumbai by 7:30 am! Trip concludes.
