Then, hop into our Jeep Safari of Umred Kahandla Wildlife Sanctuary with Trikon. The number of tourists is increasing because it is very close to the Umred and Nagpur city. Tigers are commonly seen here by many villages around the sanctuary.

About Umred Karhandla:

Umred-Pauni-Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary, about 58 km from Nagpur and 60  km from Bhandara, is spread over Pauni Tahsil of Bhandara district and Umred, Kuhi and Bhivapur Taluka of Nagpur district. This sanctuary has a connection with Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve through the forest along Wainganga River. The sanctuary is home to resident breeding tigers, herds of Gaur, wild dogs and rare animals like flying squirrels, pangolins and honey badgers.

It is bounded roughly by the Wainganga River and the Gose Khurd Dam on the northeast, State Highway 9 and Bhiwapur Town on the south, Umred on the west and a narrow 10 km long range of 600 – 800 m hills to the northwest. It is located 40 km north of Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve and 50 km southwest of Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary & 60 km from Nagpur, Maharashtra. Pench Tiger Reserve is 80 km to the northwest

Itinerary

Day 1: Reach Umred - Afternoon Safari

09:30 am Reach Nagpur, leave for Umred Karhandla Reserve via Private AC Transport

12:30 pm Hotel check in, freshen up and take rest

02:00 pm Leave for afternoon safari after lunch

06:30 pm Back to hotel, have evening tea and relax for the day

07:30 pm Watch the informative slide-show/documentary on the wild habitat of Umred .

08:00 pm   Enjoy dinner with chats and gossip, share experience of first safari

Day 2: Morning and Afternoon safari
05:30 am: Wakeup call! Leave for morning safari.

10:00 am: Back to hotel freshen up and have breakfast

01:00 pm: Leave for afternoon safari after lunch

06:30 pm: Back to hotel, gupshup over evening tea

08:00 pm: Dinner and relax for the day

Day 3:
05:30 am: Wakeup call! Leave for morning safari.

11:00 am: Freshen up and check out from hotel. Leave for Nagpur via private vehicle. Lunch on the way to Station

04:00 pm Reach Nagpur station

Return journey to Mumbai by Vidarbha Express at 5:15 pm

OR to Pune by Nagpur - Pune Superfast Express at 6:35pm

Alternatively you can take a flight back to reach home on same day
