Great Rann of Kutch - New Year Special

Day 0: 29th December , Friday

03.00 pm : Meet Trikon Team at Dadar Stations

Leave for Bhuj by Train & Spend overnight in Train

Day 1: 30th December, Saturday

Start from station by 07 am, Have breakfast. Travel towards Kalo Dungar, Explore till 11:30

am, Reach hotel by 01:00 pm and get freshen up. Post Lunch leave for White Desert –

Heaven on the Earth and enjoy lifetime memorable Sunset and also beauty of White Rann.

Feel lost in the white desert land. We can also see the Rann Utsav and enjoy local delicacies

there. Try camel riding and attend live performances ( If its available). Come back to hotel

and relax. 

Day 2: 31st December, Sunday

Get ready to explore Indus Valley civilisation site at Dholavira, It will be day visit from

Hodka to dholavira. Dholavira is an ancient archaeological site located in the Rann of Kutch

region in the state of Gujarat, India. It is one of the five largest Harappan (Indus Valley

Civilization) sites and represents one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in

India, dating back to the Indus Valley Civilization, around 2650 to 1450 BCE. It features a

well-preserved urban layout with a citadel, middle town, and lower town. Indulge in history

of Harappan. Visit Museum to get more insight about ancient civilisation. Later we will visit

wood fossil park. This park is notable for its exceptional collection of petrified wood fossils,

which are believed to be around180 million years old from the Jurassic period. Visit Karni

mata temple in the evening and enjoy sunset view. Move back to our resort at Hodka for new

year celebration

Day 3: 01st January, Monday

Wake up at 6 am and freshen up. Have breakfast by 7.30 am and start exploring Bhuj’s

famous destinations. Visit AinaMahel & PragMahel and proceed for MANDVI Beach

Sightseeing. Post lunch explore Vijay Villas Palace & Mandvi’s Famous Beach, Indulge in

breathtaking sunset at Mandvi beach. Come back to Bhuj and drop to  station.

Catch 19116/Bhuj DDR EXP around 10 pm

Day 4: 02nd January, Tuesday

Reach Mumbai by 11:30 am.

Things to Carry

• Water Bottles
• A light-weighted Haversack or Backpack, and a smaller Day Sack
• Good pair of trekking shoes, and a pair of flip-flops
• Thermal Inners
• Cap, sunglasses, scarf
• Camera, Binoculars (Optional)
• Toiletries – Sunscreen, Moisturizer, Light towel, Lip balm, Wet wipes, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Hand Sanitizer
• Any medicines that you consume normally, post consulting a doctor
• Mosquito repellent
• Snacks & Biscuits to munch on (Optional)
• Enerzyl Powder or Glucon D powder

IMPORTANT:

• Participants must carry cash in order to survive and buy anything at Rann. Except high end luxury hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops, plastic money such as credit card and debit card is not accepted throughout Rann.
• ATM’s are common only in Bhuj, and beyond that finding ATM is also difficult.
• Avoid wearing precious Jewelry, as Trikon won’t be responsible for any losses for the same.
• Please make sure you report at the start location as per the itinerary. No refunds would be entertained by Trikon. Consult your Trikon buddy in advance in case of any changes.
• Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Anybody found consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without refund.
• Fitness & Health – Though trekking is a fun-filled activity, it demands good amount of physical fitness. If you are under medication, please carry your medicines. During the trek, leaders will have over the counter medication for temporary treatment, so do give a heads up to them if you need any medical assistance.
