Jaisalmer Desert Festival is held for 3 days every year where travellers all around the world witness the beauty of the deserts all lit up for the festival, colourful culture and the true feeling of seeing the Rangilo Rajasthan”.  With Trikon let’s explore the far side of Rajasthan the Blue city Jodhpur and Golden city Jaisalmer along with the festival of desert in one go. You can enjoy local cuisine and dance like there’s no tomorrow. All we got to tell you is “Padharo mhare desh”

About Jodhpur: Known as the Blue city, Jodhpur is the most visited destination in Rajasthan, thanks to the gigantic Mehrangarh fort where some scenes of Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani was shot it makes your visit worth-while. Café hopping and exploring several havelis is a must thing to do.

About Jaisalmer: Famous for its sand dunes and desert safari, Jaisalmer is the destination for sleeping under the vast desert and watching cultural dance just to get the right feel of the state in the right way.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Wednesday, 21st Feb 2024

Today we board an afternoon train DDR BKN SF EXP (12490) at 3 pm from Mumbai to Jodhpur overnight journey 

from  Dadar. Overnight journey in sleeper coach non ac train tickets. 

3.00 pm : Boarding from Dadar

3.22 pm : Boarding from Borivali

Day 2 : Reach Jodhpur, 22nd Feb 2024

Reach Jodhpur at 07:00 am and check in to your rooms. Freshen up and relax for a while

after the train journey. Incase early checkin is not available , we will freshenup at station and

explore few places then check in to the resort.Explore the bluecity by foot and stroll around

the market. Indulge into some local delicacies. You can explore Mandore Gardens or Umaid

Bhavan today.

Day 3 : Jodhpur to Jaisalmer, 23rd Feb 2024 (4 hours journey)

Wake up in Jodhpur and have breakfast. Leave for Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada.

Today we wait to see the most exquisite fort of India the Mehrangarh fort, which looks

impeccable and has a lot of history and palaces which can be explored along with a historic

guide. Post this we move to Jaswant Thada another heritage adjacent to Mehrangarh. Have

lunch at Jodhpur and leave for Jaisalmer. Reach Jaisalmer by evening and check in to your

rooms. Freshen up and start city festival tour. Watch performances and local festivities in

Jaisalmer. Have dinner in Jaisalmer city and sleep at a hotel in Jaisalmer.

Day 4 : Jaisalmer Local sightseeing and Desert stay , 24th Feb 2024

Wake up and freshen up. Have breakfast and start with Jaisalmer Local sightseeing. Cover places like Golden fort of Jaisalmer followed by Patwa ki Haveli, Gadisar Lake & Bada Baugh. Have lunch and leave for Desert stay. It’s a one hour drive from the city. You just have to take your day pack to the desert. Watch the festivities at desert and stay overnight under open sky desert stay arrangement under the stars.

Day 5 : Jaisalmer to Jodhpur, 25th Feb 2024

Wake up in the desert and have breakfast. Do your camel safari till the main road and get into

the car to reach Jaisalmer and then Jodhpur. Board the train to Mumbai at 12:00 pm from

Jodhpur

Day 6 : Reach Mumbai, 26th Feb 2024

Reach Borivali @ 06.21 am and Dadar at 07:10 am

Trip concludes with happy memories!

IMPORTANT: Avoid wearing precious Jewelry during the event, as Trikon won’t be responsible for any losses for the same.

Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without refund.

Fitness & Health – Though backpacking is a fun-filled activity, it demands good amount of physical fitness. If you are under medication, please carry your medicines. During the trek, leaders will have over the counter medication for temporary treatment, so do give a heads up to them if you need any medical assistance.
