Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Jagdalpur Heritage Walk.

Arrival in Jagdalpur at 4:00pm.
Explore the Jagdalpur Heritage Walk of Bastar at Sirasar square. Walk the history of dynasties in  Bastar, explore Bastar palace, man-made lakes with tales to tell.
Visit Bastar Art Gallery and Dalpat Sagar in the evening.
Overnight Stay at Hotel (Deluxe Rooms), Jagdalpur.

Day 2: Kanger Valley – Waterfalls, Caves & Bamboo Rafting.

After breakfast, leave for Kanger Valley National Park area,
On this day we will travel to Kanger Valley National Park - Tirathgarh waterfalls; the water here cascades from about 300ft. Visit Kotumsar or Mandarkonta natural caves, million years old stalactite and stalagmite by gypsy safari (Only to Kotumsar) (Subject To Availability).
Visit Dhudmaras Village to experience Bamboo Rafting ( only if water level is ok and it is allowed for rafting). Its on the best tourism village list by UNWTO
Also visit Kanger Dhara to see another stunning spot within the national park. Its appealing vista not only delights but makes this spot an admirable place for activities like photography.
After that visit, Visit Local market set up where natives display and sell local items, handicrafts, and organic produce . The most interesting thing about the set up is, it is not just a commercial set up but is looked upon as an occasion for local people as a weekly get together. They meet up, socialise  and enjoy various activities.
Visit the craft village for seeing the making of Dhokra craft (by using lost wax technique)

Day 3: Dantewada & Barsoor – Temples, Tribal Dance & Archaeology.

In the morning we will start with the beautiful and scenic valley road drive to Dantewada. 

Knowing the story that connects both Danteshwari temples (at Dantewada and at Jagdalpur). We will then head to Danteshwari temple  and then with historical anecdotes and megaliths at Gamawada also see some of the unique memory pillars. Visit Kumharaas Pottery village to see the work of terracotta craft. Move on the rhythm of tribal dance by the Bison-horn Madiya tribe. Thereon we will set off to Barsoor, fondly known as an archeological treasure. Learn interesting tales of Battisha and Mama Bhanja temple. We will also visit the twin Ganesha temple, dated to be more than 800 years old and is among the world largest single sand stone statues of lord Ganesha and Visit saathdhara waterfalls, gateway to Abhujmadh region. Visit Muchnar sand beach, spend time in the serenity of the river side in the evening.

Optional: Zipline activity at Buddha Talab, Barsoor (to be paid directly by Guests)
Optional : Michnaar Hills small trek of 1000 feet can be done or else Phoolpad Waterfalls near Dantewada.

Day 4: Chitrakote & Mendri Ghumar Waterfalls.

Chitrakote waterfalls: The view of the majestic Chitrakote from the top contour is really enthralling and at the base you get to see a totally varied form, roaring down from about 100ft, the gleam of waterfall at the base is enchanting. Do the Boat Ride and Foot walk at the river bank to enjoy the serenity.
After that, we will head to Mendri Ghumar for lunch, where a traditional meal will be served on Leafy bowls alongside a scenic view of the waterfall.
Tamda Ghumar waterfalls: Of the less explored places, Tamda Ghumar offers you a pristine surrounding to delve in. Waterfall flowing down in a plunge will soothe your soul. Explore the untapped beauty of Tamda Ghumar in a short trail.
Mendri Ghumar valley: Delve in the magic of the valley view and enjoy sky hues at its best. 

Overnight Stay at Chitrakote Adventure Camp,  Chitrakote.

Day 5: Narayanpal Temple & Shopping in Jagdalpur.


Visit Narayanpal Temple known to be 1000 years old. Thereon explore the local Dev Gudi – holy premises of local Gods and Goddess.

End your tour in Jagdalpur with a stop at the tourist information centre, followed by some memorable last-minute shopping for unique gifts and souvenirs. Don't miss this chance to connect deeply with the rich heritage and welcoming communities of Bastar region.
