The most popular places to visit here are Mussoorie Lake, Kempty Falls, Mall Road, Gun Hill, and Lal Tibba.

Rishikesh:

If you are fond of exploring places that give you a spiritual high and an adrenaline kick with adventure and sports activities, then Rishikesh is ideal for your weekend getaway. Rishikesh is a tehsil situated in Uttarakhand’s Tehri Garhwal region on the banks of the holiest river in India, the Ganga. Like every other city in Uttarakhand, Rishikesh to is filled with lush greenery, captivating mountain ranges, and scenic spots, but what sets it apart from the rest are the yoga ashrams and meditation centers. Rishikesh is also called the “Yoga Capital of India”. Offbeat and thrilling activities to indulge in, in Rishikesh include River rafting, bungee jumping, cliff jumping, kayaking, rappelling, and camping. In Rishikesh, you must also visit the Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula and seek blessings at the auspicious Ganga Aarti every evening at the Triveni Ghat.

Jim Corbett National Park:  

Uttarakhand is known for its wildlife sanctuaries, and Jim Corbett National Park is the most popular and visited one. It was established in 1936 and is named after the naturalist and conservationist Jim Corbett. It is spread over 1318.54 sq. km and is rich in flora and fauna. It is the oldest national park with the maximum number of tigers. You can book a jeep safari here and spot other wild animals like Royal Bengal Tiger, Sambhar Deer, Indian Hog Deer, Asiatic Black Deer, and more.

Itinerary

Day 1, Sunday: Arrival in Jim Corbett National Park & Safari.

  • Arrive at Jim Corbett National Park and check into the hotel. Take some time to relax and an exhilarating jeep safari in Jim Corbett National Park, where we'll have the chance to spot tigers and other wildlife.
  • After the safari, return to the hotel for dinner and spend the night at the hotel in Jim Corbett.

Day 2, Monday: Venturing to Rishikesh.

  • Wake up early for breakfast and some leisure time. Later in the day, depart for Rishikesh. The distance from Jim Corbett to Rishikesh is approximately 160 km, taking about 4 hours to reach.
  • Upon arrival in Rishikesh, check into the hotel, embark on local sightseeing in Rishikesh, visiting attractions like Geeta Bhavan and Parmarth Niketan, Ganga Arti at Triveni Ghat. Back to have dinner, and spend the night.

Day 3, Tuesday: Exploring Rishikesh and Journey to Mussoorie.

  • After breakfast, Explore Adventures Rishikesh and later in the afternoon, depart for Mussoorie.
  • The distance from Rishikesh to Mussoorie is approximately 75 km, taking about 2-3 hours to reach. Upon arrival in Mussoorie, check into the hotel, and take some time to relax.
  • In the evening, take a delightful stroll along Mall Road. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hotel in Mussoorie.

Day 4, Wednesday: Discovering Mussoorie’s Charms.

  • After breakfast, explore the charming attractions of Mussoorie, including Kempty Falls, and the colonial beauty of Landour.
  • Capture picturesque memories and immerse yourself in the serene natural landscapes.
  • Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hotel in Mussoorie.

Day 5, Thursday: Departure from Mussoorie !

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart from Mussoorie. Head back to Delhi by bus, covering approximately 300 km in about 6 hours of scenic travel.
  • Upon arrival in Delhi, bid farewell to your fellow travelers and conclude the journey with beautiful memories of the trip.

IMPORTANT: Avoid wearing precious Jewelry during the event, as Trikon won’t be responsible for any losses for the same.

Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without refund.

Fitness & Health – Though backpacking is a fun-filled activity, it demands good amount of physical fitness. If you are under medication, please carry your medicines. During the trek, leaders will have over the counter medication for temporary treatment, so do give a heads up to them if you need any medical assistance.
