Pimpri village is 16 km away from Pune. Hence, you can easily catch a flight and train to Pune if you are travelling from outside Maharashtra. If you are from Mumbai, you can easily find multiple trains and bus options at a convenient time. You can drive to Lonavala, which is 50 km away from Pimpri.

The best time to take this trail is pre-monsoon or monsoon (June to September) or winter (October to January).

The Andharban Jungle trek starts from Pimpri Dam, and it is advisable to begin the Andharban trek early at sunrise. The initial hike is a walk through the flat lands. On your way in the woods, you will be accompanied by poppy fields and farms, beautiful patches of blooming flowers such as lilies and several waterfalls and ponds.
